Good Afternoon Valley Tourism Professionals,
The Rio Grande Valley Planning Organization (RGVMPO) recently started developing its 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). This plan must identify how the metropolitan area will manage and operate a multi-modal transportation system (including transit, highway, bicycle, pedestrian, and accessible transportation) to meet the region’s economic, transportation, development, and sustainability goals. One of the most important elements of this process is understanding the needs of stakeholders (those who have a ‘stake’ in the plan’s outcomes) in the community and incorporating their feedback into the planning process and the final MTP document.
We believe that your feedback will be valuable in shaping the future of the transportation system in the region. The RGVMPO is hosting virtual stakeholder interviews on July 10, 2020 at 1:30 PM.
If you are interested in participating, we invite you to attend an interview session with other similar stakeholders through our virtual meeting platform in Microsoft Teams through the link provided below. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your attendance or if you have any questions or concerns, you’d like to discuss; or if this date does not work we may be able to schedule another time to capture your feedback.
