February 2023

Excitement is building as the Children’s Museum of Brownsville prepares to host the Girls’ Night Out Bingo fundraiser on February 10th at the Children’s Museum Pavilion. This event is a great opportunity for women to gather, have fun, and support the museum’s mission of introducing children to a world of learning through the power of play.

The evening promises to be a delightful blend of food, music, and of course, bingo! With round after round of thrilling bingo games, participants will have the chance to win exciting prizes, including bracelets, jewelry, and even a prize of $500!

In addition to bingo, the event will also feature category prizes like “Most Creative”, “Best Dressed”, “Most Spirited”, and “Best Table”. Contests will add to the fun and excitement of the evening, and provide participants with the opportunity to showcase their style and creativity.

The funds raised from the Girls’ Night Out Bingo event will go a long way in helping the museum continue to provide top-notch programming and activities for children and families in the community. With your support, the Children’s Museum of Brownsville will be able to continue its mission of introducing children to a world of learning through play.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to have fun, meet new friends, and support a great cause. We look forward to seeing you on February 10th at the Children’s Museum Pavilion!

March 2022

For more than 15 years, the Children’s Museum of Brownsville has been a central point of pride for our community, providing active, hands-on learning for children in a safe, welcoming, and interactive environment.

Our commitment to the well-being of our patrons is our top priority. This starts with how we evaluate and train employees (including completing thorough background checks for every hire) as well as onboarding and training volunteers. At every step of the process, safety is at the forefront of everything we do at the museum.

Recently, a former staff member of the museum was removed by authorities. We remain assured that no wrong doing occurred in the museum and are confident in our measures to keep families safe.

In addition to ongoing surveillance, our practices and policies ensure our annual 60,000 patrons that the Children’s Museum of Brownsville continues to be a safe space to enjoy. We’re also gearing up for busy spring break and summer seasons as we’ve already had a great visitor turnout this year.

Thank you for your continued support of our organization and our work to promote A World of Learning through the power of play.

Sincerely,
