Children’s Museum of Brownsville Announces Two New Exhibits for Summer 2023

The Children’s Museum of Brownsville is thrilled to announce the arrival of two exciting new exhibits for families to enjoy this summer: Ocean Bound and Alegremente. Both exhibits are designed to provide a fun, interactive, and educational experience for children of all ages.

The grand opening of these exhibits at the Children’s Museum of Brownsville was celebrated on June 7, 2023, at 12 noon. 

Ocean Bound takes visitors on a journey through the world’s oceans, exploring the creatures that live within them and the ways humans impact their environment. Through hands-on activities and exhibits, visitors will learn about the importance of ocean conservation and what they can do to help protect these vital ecosystems.

Alegremente is a celebration of Latin American culture, highlighting the music, dance, and art of the region. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in interactive displays, learn traditional dances, and create their own works of art inspired by the vibrant and colorful culture of Latin America.

“We are thrilled to bring these two amazing exhibits to the Children’s Museum of Brownsville,” said Felipe Pena, Executive Director of the museum. “Our goal is to provide families with a fun and educational experience that sparks a lifelong love of learning.”

Both exhibits will be displayed at the Children’s Museum of Brownsville this summer From June 3 through September 1, 2023. Admission to the museum and the exhibits are included with the purchase of a general admission ticket.
